Brandy Singleton

Executive Director

Singleton has an extensive background in nonprofit management and most recently held several roles during her eleven years at The United Way of Anderson County, including Vice President of Community Impact and State Director of the South Carolina Disaster Corps. In addition, she works with the Anderson community and our state by serving on many boards and has remained committed to improving our communities. Singleton firmly believes that one should never stop learning and was most recently awarded an Executive Certification, Nonprofit Financial Stewardship, John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Professional Focus:

Singleton will manage all day-to-day operations at PlaySafe and lead comprehensive marketing and fund development strategies. Her passion for health, safety, and wellness, as well as promoting community-based nonprofits, will help further PlaySafe’s mission and growth throughout the twelve counties in South Carolina and Georgia currently served.

Professional Skills:

Brandy Singleton’s entire career has been spent helping individuals and communities meet pressing needs. PlaySafe addresses one of those needs by ensuring the education and safety of our children while they participate in something that brings them joy-sports. Providing sports medicine services and certified athletic trainers for all secondary schools is not just a wish but a necessity. This program and its athletic trainers have saved multiple lives. Play Safe programs and athletic trainers are something all students and coaches should have access to.
