PlaySafe Receives Grant from GCCF

In May 2024, PlaySafe received a Youth and Education Grant from Greenwood County Community Foundation (GCCF), to be applied toward athletic training services for local high schools. Athletic trainers provide not only support for athletes at sporting events, but also versatile wellness services, and injury and illness prevention skills to students. These services are made possible by a partnership between PlaySafe, Self Regional Healthcare, Greenwood School District 50, and local funders.
